Snark is a unique boat, not only can she sail around the coast and up to 60 miles offshore but with her shallow draft and off grid capacity we can travel deep into the beautiful rivers and estuaries that grace our part of the world or anchor in shallow bays unsuitable for deeper draft vessels.

So, we have decided that in 2025 we will focus on these attributes and offer a series of voyages taking in the ten navigable West Country rivers from the Ex to the Helford and the dramatic rugged coastline in between.  The passages between these are short enough to allow us to daudle a little and focus of sailing Snark rather than motoring, reducing our carbon footprint and offering a unique perspective on the heritage and natural life of the region.

By popular demand we have added more trips to the Isles of Scilly.  These remote and windswept islands off the southwest corner of England are challenging to sail to but well worth the effort.  It is a world of wide sandy beaches, dramatic rock formations and organic island produce.  Snark is well suited to explore the many shallow bays and channels and provide a comfortable base for island hopping, seaweed scavenging, bird watching, sea swimming, beach barbeques and many other seaside pursuits.
